Kasargod : Two persons who were transporting ganja in an autorickshaw were arrested at Honnamoole here on March 20, Wednesday. The arrested are Usman (29) from Talangere and G A Abdul Khader (44) from Alampady.

Police have seized as much as 110 kg of ganja hidden in gunny bags in the autorickshaw. During interrogations, the two admitted that they brought the ganja from Andhra Pradesh.

The raid followed a tip off and CK Sunil Kumar, Circe Inspector led the raiding team. Investigations have been intensified as this is a major haul of drugs wherein over 100 kg of ganja has been seized.
