Puttur: “More than three thousand 94c title deeds have been distributed in Puttur assembly constituency. Because of the government’s pro-people schemes, poor also are being able to construct their own house,” said Puttur constituency MLA Shakunthala Shetty.

She was addressing the gathering after distributing 94c title deed and compensation check to the beneficiaries at Vittal IB on Wednesday.

“Those who have already constructed the house before 2012 are eligible for title deed. No need of having door number. Officers should put honest effort in responding to the poor’s problems. Those who have complications with nearby road and other things, cannot be provided title deed,” said Tahashildar Purandara Hegde.

119 families recieved title deed and more than Rs 1 lakh was distributed as compensation to the beneficiaries.

ZP member jayashree Kodandoor, TP member Adam Kunhi, Vittal town panvhayat member Ashok Kumar Rai and others were present.
