Mangalore : 13 students and a lecturer from Karnataka belonging to Roshani Nilaya MSW course were safe in a rail accident near Goti in Maharastra when Mangala express from Delhi was on its way to Kerala via Mangalore Junction. Went of the tracks Killing 5 people and injuring 45 travelers with 3 AC coaches and 8 Non Ac coaches derailing in the accident early this morning (Nov 15).

The 13 students and a lecturer had been to Khedernath for a crucial meeting on natural disasters and were returning home after the event from Delhi, when they escaped from this rail accident.
