Mangalore : The thirteenth branch office of the celebrated Gokarna Nath Co-op. Bank Ltd, having its head office in city was inaugurated at the Mission street Road, Mangalore.
Former MP B. Janardhana Poojary inaugurated the new branch. Kumble Sunder Rao who heads state Yakshagana Academy inaugurated the deposit lockers room. MCC Commissioner Dr.Vijay Prakash started the functions of branch computer work.
Speaking on the occasion, B.J. Poojary who is also a leader of DKCC, informed that the new office has been opened in the old harbour (Bunder) area to keep in touch with business and trade sections of the society here. These are also households and many types of economic transactions in this area. He hoped the Banks will render useful and selfless service to them in larger interests. The administrators of this bank should be prompt and efficient in service. We perceive a lowering level in honest dealings these days. People hate politicians for their double standards. But the bank can have only one honest standard in all its dealings, the leader stated. Those who take Bank loans are not mendicants. The bank grows from strength to strength out of the interest amounts paid by its clients, he pointed out.
