Mangaluru: Several people being injured after a collision between a scooter, bus and lorry near Surathkal on Friday morning.

According to eye witnesses a scooter veered in front of the bus from the right. all of a sudden, while a bus was plying from Surathkal to Mulki, at Thadambail, To avoid collision with the scooter, the bus driver turned left and ended up hitting a lorry.

The accident occured in the morning 10:15 injuring Ibrahim (48) and Zohra (39) residents of Chokkabettu were on the bike and they were taken to Srinivas Hospital, Mukka and are now out of danger. As a result of this collusion, twelve passengers in the bus were also injured and have been admitted to the same hospital. A case has been registered in Mangaluru North police station.
