Udupi :  As many as 14 people travelling in a bus bound to Udupi from Mangalore sustained injuries when the bus overturned near Katapady on November 3, Saturday.

The mishap took place on NH 66 when the bus driver lost control over the vehicle  in his bid to avert collision with a car.

The injured  namely Prajna Karkera, Jagadish Ballal, Mohandas Kini, Kiran Alva, Sukanya, Uma Subrahamanya and others have been admitted to hospitals in Udupi and Mangalore.

Kaup police have registered a case.
