Mangalore: If the consumer of cooking gas at home has not provided required documents or the information for suitable gas connections, he/she has only 15 days to set things right. The Government has now given only two weeks to solve the issues for users to solve their issues related to Gas connections by providing necessary details to the area dealers.
Thousands of names of customers were missing from the website despite giving RR Number and Ration Cards to Food Department, and complaints were sent to the department to say that in Mangalore City alone around 35,000 customers’ names were not on websites Gas connection list. The Govt. has now given 15 days to add all left out names to the list. Customers themselves can upload their names to onto the website by visiting it and enter the R.R Number and ration card, so that their names come on website in the next 10 days. People, who cannot access internet, have to provide documents to the Taluk office which has a help centre to guide.
