Udupi: 15 Representatives coming from 14 countries on Sunday visited the MGM College and Poet Laureate Manjeshwara Govind Pai Centre of Languages, Yakshangana Study Centre and other Arts Centres here.

They belonged to a church Reforms Committee from Countries like Germany, Cuba, S. Africa, USA, Congo, Indonesia etc., and 15 of them as tourists came to know of local cultural values and folkarts. They observed local ways of living among people.

In the evening, they visited Karkala, Gomata Statue on a hill, Chaturmukha(4-faced temple)Basadi, Ane Kere(the elephant tank), a 1000 pillared Jain temple of historic Moodubidre and other sites of tourism interests.

Dr. Herinje Krishna Bhat, a scholar, N.T. Bhat, Dr. Sadanand, and Vasant Kumar among were present to greet the foreign guests.
