Mangalore : The 154th birth anniversary of Kudmul Ranga Rao was celebrated at  Auditorium on Sunday, July 7 under the aegis of Mundala Yuva Vedike. UT Khader State Minister for Health and Family Welfare inaugurated the function.

He said the society and nation can be strong when its youth power is channelized in the right direction.

Nalin Kumar Kateel MP who was the chief guest, spoke on the life and works of Kudmul Ranga Rao. JR Lobo, Moidin Bava, MLAs,  Corporator Shashidhar Hegde,  Dr Premadas and others were present as a chief guest.

Mallikarjuna M, President of the Yuva Vedike, presided over the function. Dr Mugulavalli Keshava Dharani,  was honored for his contribution to the field of literature and social service.

Students who secured high marks in SSLC and PUC Exams were awarded.
