Kasargod: A young lass committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence at Neeleshwar on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Devika (16) daughter of Rajiv of Kumbalapalli.

Devika’s mother and Devika had a heated argument between them and her mother scold her. Depressed by this incident Devika decided to take this extreme step, said police.

She was studying in plus one class at Parappa Government Higher Secondary School.

A case has been registered at Neeleshwar police station.
