Mangalore: National Organization of Bank Workers will organize two day 16th All India Conference of National Organization of Bank Workers on October 2 and October 3 at Sangha Nikethan, Mannagudda said Dinesh Kulakarni, president of reception Committee.
He was speaking at the press meet held at Prabhakar Ghate Auditorium of Bharathiya Mazdoor Sangh office on October 1, Friday. He also said that Honourable State Higher Education minister Dr V S Acharya will inaugurate the event. Sri Vishwesha Teerta Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt will deliver the benedictory speech on the occasion.
All India General Secreatry of Bharathiya Mazdoor Sangh K Lakshma Reddy, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, District in Charge Minister Krishna J Palemar, PT Rao, incharge of Financial Sector, BMS, Dr S U Deshpande, general secretary of NOBO will address the gathering under the presidentship of Dinesh Kulkarni.
Around 600 delegates from all over the country from different banks are expected to participate in the conference. During the demands around 15 demands related to industrial sector will be put forth and problem related to bank employees will be discussed. The organization will also decide the further course of agitation.
Resolution will be passed regarding the compassionate appointment, Outsourcing, Price Rise, anomalies in Pension Scheme and Part Time employee’s issues.
Apart from it, one exclusive session for the women member’s delegates will be organized to discuss their issues and problems. At the end of the conference on 3rd October election will be held to elect the office bearers and central executive committee for the next three years, he added.
