Udupi: A PU student committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence at Bidalkatte on Tuesday.
Kavana (17) is identified as the deceased person. She was pursuing her second year PU education.

As per the reports, Ramachandra Achar, her father called for routine tea on Tuesday morning, but there was no response from Kavana. He called her many times but the response was none.

Later, Ramachandra Achar called the neighbors and with the help of them the door of her room was broken. She was still alive when the door was broke, immediately she was rushed to the hospital, but she breathed her last on the way to the hospital.

In the death note which is believed to be written by Kavana, she had said sorry to her father, mother and her younger brother.

Kota police have registered a case.
