Puttur: An eighteen month old baby lost his life while being choked to death at his grandparent’s house on Monday.

Dhruva (18 months), son of Durgaprasad from Swarga – Soorambail on Sunday the boy had gone to Chikkamagaluru his maternal grandmother house. Next day when having breakfast in the morning, beaten rice which the child swallowed, got stuck in its throat, as a result of which the child could not breathe.

Dhruva was rushed to a hospital in Chikkamagaluru for treatment, but the doctors could not save the child’s life.
