Mangalore : Two recovery agents working in Bajaj Finance were brutally assaulted by a person in his house located at Bajpe, who went to collect loan installment on April 22, Tuesday.

The victims are Vijesh (25) and Vignesh Kumar (27), who had been to a house belonging to Mohammad Ali to recover the loan installment availed from the finance company in his daughter name to purchase Pulsar bike.

The duo who called Ali and said that the cheque issued by him to the company had bounced, was asked to come to his house to collect the amount and later quarrel with them and refused to pay the loan installment.

Vignesh, who later warned Ali to face legal action, so that he would have to appear in court, was about to leave the house, sooner angered Ali attacked the duo with iron rod seriously injuring on head and hand of duo.

Bajpe police registered the case and investigating is on.
