Kundapur : Two tragic accidents reported from Kundapur have claimed two lives and have left two seriously injured.

In an accident reported on the morning of March 6, Wednesday, a person identified as Narasimha Bhandari (50) was killed when his two-wheeler was hit by a bus going towards Kollur near Hemmadi. Bhandari’s son Nayan who was pillion riding the bike sustained serious injuries. Bhandari was running a saloon at Hemmadi. Nayan is a tenth standard student at the Janatha High School at Hemmady.

In another accident reported on the night of March 5, Tuesday, a bike rider was killed and the pillion rider seriously injured. In this case too a  private bus knocked down the two-wheeler.

The deceased is Chandrashekhar(28)  from Hattiangady. The pillion rider Ravi (26) has suffered serious injuries. Both were on way to Tallur when the mishap took place. Chandrashekhar was a water bill collector in the local GP office.

Kundapur police have registered a case.
