Mangalore: Cruise Vessel, 15th in a row calling at Mangalore Panambur Port, by name ‘MV Seven Seas Voyager’ Brought 656 luxury passengers on board at MMPT on Thursday, March 22.
600 of them opted for ground tours around west Coast sights in Baikampady, Karkala, Kudroli, Kadri, St.Al. Chapel and Balmatta shopping area, with JM Boixi & Co., guiding them.
On day earlier, on March21, ‘MV Aida Diva’ with as many as 1869 passengers and 607 crew members on board, had visited NMPT to see DK-Udupi district sites.
Both came from Kochi and sailed to Goa at night. There were many German tourists.
Dr. P. Tamilvanan received both these vessels in great joy. He told that 14 vessels, with 8726 passengers(of whom 6432 got down here) had visited local areas as a boon to Indian tourism.
