Mangalore: The Central Institute of Indian Languages, Mysore, the Centre for Classical Kannada, and Karnataka Theological Research Institute together, organised a 2-day national seminar on Foreign scholars Contribution towards Classical language of Kannada, at Sahodaya Hall on Tuesday and due on Wednesday(March 20-21).
Dr. Venkatachala Shastri, a senior researcher inaugurated the seminar on Tuesday, March 20. Rice, Dr. Shastri pointed out.
In his keynote address, Dr. Purushottam Bilimale, Director of American Institute for Indian Studies, mentioned that Rs28 Crores were provided for Tamil classical literature research studies, but no scholars are interested here. Dictionary was released on the occasion by Dr. Shastri.
