Mangaluru: Three engineering students from Kerala, who were allegedly selling ganja, were arrested by Mangaluru police on Tuesday. Police have seized 400gms of ganja, four cellphones from them. Acting on a tip-off, police raided the room of the trio in Pandeshwar and recovered ganja.
Police said the trio identified as Shahin K Ayub, resident of Kottayam; Shehan Basheer, 20, resident of Pattanamtitta and Sachin Pradeepan, 20, are studying at a private engineering college in Valachil. They used to procure ganja from Kerala and sell it to students in Valachil and Balmatta area in small sachets, police added. TNN
