Kasargod: It has been learnt that two of the five sailors in the ill-fated ship MT Pratibha Cauvery which was grounded by Cyclone Neelam, near Chennai on October 31, Wednesday, are from Kasargod.
Identified as Joman Joseph (23) and PC Krishnachandra (22) they are yet to be traced Meanwhile, the body of one of the missing has been found in the seas near Chennai. But, its identity is not yet ascertained.
The five had drowned when the life boat they were using after their ship grounded, capsized. A total of 15 trapped men had been rescued from the ship by6 the Coast Guard helicopters and one of those rescued is Joy Herman Corda, a resident of Kalattur in Udupi district.
