Bantwal : Two persons sustained serious injuries when a Maruti Omni overturned on the NH 75at Panemangalore on August 25, Thursday, night.

One of the injured has been identified as Narayana, a resident of the locality.The identity of the other injured person is not known.

The mishap took place near the Satyadevatha Katte in Panemangalore. The Maruti was speeding towards Mangalore from BC Road when the mishap took place. It is learnt the  mishap occurred when the speeding car took to the left in a bid to avert collision with a lorry and in the process injured two persons who were  waiting for the bus. They were shifted to the hospital. Bantwal town police have registered a case.Even the driver of the vehicle is learnt to have been injured in the mishap.
