Mangaluru : A private bus on the  Mangalore-Moodbidri route  overturned near Nantoor junction. A ITI student and the cleaner of a private bus were killed, several passengers seriously injured  here on Wednesday Nov 26 morning.

According to the eye witness, the  private bus was coming towards Nantoor junction from Moodbidri, while the lorry carrying fish was approaching the junction from Udupi side.

At the junction the two vehicles collided and overturned after moving ahead a few meters, it is said.

Unmath, an ITI student, and Ganesh, the bus cleaner, who where on the foot board died on spot. Seven other injured persons, including the driver and cleaner of the lorry, were admitted to a private hospital.

The traffic at the junction was affected for nearly two hours.
