Mangalore : Two Cruise vessels M.V. Sevenseas Voyager and M.V. Seabourn Odyssey  carrying over 1000 passengers from UK and US, called at the New Mangalore Port on December 3, Monday.

If this is the maiden voyage for Seabourn Odyssey, for Sevenseas Voyager, this is her third voyage to Mangalore. Out of the total 1088 passengers on board, 1000 opted for ground tour arranged by M/s Lia Travrels and visited several tourist spots in and around Mangalore. They also went on a shopping spree. A total of 40 A/C buses were arranged for them.Both the vessels later sailed out to Cochin in the evening.

The tourists visited Kadri, Kudroli temples, Savira Kamba Basadi among other places.

Dr P Tamilvanan, NMPT Chairman, said the tourists were pleased with the arrangements made for them and also the outstanding hospitality extended to them.
