Belthangady: Two pilgrims   have  met a watery grave in Netravathi River at Dharmasthala. The mishap took place when Purushottam(28) from Bangalore had entered the water to have a holy dip only to be washed away by the currents. So far his body has not been traced.

In another case, Narendra Babu (19) from Pulaganahalli in Gowribidanur taluk too met a watery grave while having a bath along with Manjunath, Raghavendra, Rajesh and Mahesh. The incident took place when they had been to Dharmasthala from Subrhamanya.

Even his body has not  been traced. Belthangady police are conducting investigations.
