Kasaragod: The Joint Director of Central Intelligence Bureau(CIB), Hari Senvarma in his report sent to DGP Jacob Punnoose of Kerala Government has revealed the disturbing fact that extremist/violent persons of a gang and anti-social elements, have tried to overthrow running trains twice, to fall into a river between Manjeshwar and Kasaragod, an area of sly Muslim Malabar Moplahs.
On November 12, and again on November 23, large rockstones were found on rail tracks in the region. The huge stone found on November 12 was immediately removed as an impediment, to escape a serious railway accident.
But on November 23, a concrete slab was found on the tracks at 10PM(Night) between Majeshwar and Uppala, and the slab was smashed to pieces when a large goods train passed over the track, and the Concrete slab in the process.
The attempt to overturn the passing railway wagons has been made in a dangerous 15KM distance covered by river bridges, as the rock stone and concrete slab were both found close to a rover, that was bridged on way to Kasaragod.
