Bantwal : Several passengers were injured, two of them seriously when a bus hit three other vehicles  due to rash driving by a bus driver at Kodaje near Maani on May 23, Thursday.

The Mahesh Bus on way to Mangalore, first hit a car. This took two other cars which were behind unawares resulting in collision with each other. Several bus passengers too were injured. The two seriously injured were passengers of one of the cars, Unaid and Kasturi Shanker.

All the three cars as well as the bus  were  damaged in the accident.

It even resulted in a traffic blockade on Maani-Puttur road for several hours.
