Mangalore: A Team Mangalore of ‘Team Mangalore’ Kite fliers has been invited to Italy and another team is going to Korea (April 11 to 17), each having 4 members. One led by Sarvesh Rao and the other by Giridhar Kamath.

Teams from 21 countries are invited to South Korea. The Indians will perform a Yakshagana episode in Korea and Italy(April 21 to May2).

The Italy show is of longer duration with kite fliers from 38 countries attending. The two Kite shows will provide ample chance to exhibit the skills and talents of various teams around the world.

The Indian team has taken part in various international Kite flights in Europe Asia, America, Middle East and Far East, and won appreciation. It has several large and artistic Kites up the sleeves and runs a workshop on kites abroad.
