Kundapur: The Kundapur police have issued a statement on Friday, seeking h to trace out 2 women Mamatha Shetty (25) and Sharada (23), who were reported missing from their homes from Dec.3, 2013.

The police have failed to find out their where abouts all these days and have now asked the public to help them trace out the two missing young women.

There were several possibilities of their being dead or kidnapped or sold or getting married and so on. However the police have come round to obtained public information about the 2 missing persons.

It may be noted that Mamatha Shetty had worked as a temporary teacher in Siddapur government high school in Kundapur, and Sharada in a cashew factory for some time, before they vanished from public view in Kundapur.
