Bhatkal : In a tragic incident, a two year old  child lost its life after the child which was in the arms of its father accidentally fell off the moving  Kerala bound Viraval Express near Kadvinkatta dam in Bhatkal on May 31, Friday. It is learnt the child Naman was with his father Kaushal near the emergency window when the mishap took place.

The family of Kaushal and his friend Chethan were on a tour to Trivendraum when the mishap took place.Though Kaushal pulled the chain, stopped the train and rushed the child to Bhatkal Government Hospital, doctors declared that the baby was brought dead.

The mishap left the two families in a state of shock. A case has been registered in Bhatkal rural police station.
