Mangaluru : Two youth drowned in the sea at Ullal while another person was rescued on December 29, Friday.

Basheer (23), Salman (19) and Saif Ali (27) from Chikkamagaluru had come to visit the Ullal Darga. After visiting the Darga they had headed to the beach and were making merry in the water when all of them were washed away.

Lifeguards who noticed this managed to rescue Saif and Salman. Of them Salman died in the hospital. The body of Basheer is yet to be traced.
