Mangalore : A two year old baby girl lost her life when she accidentally fell off the second floor window of the Colaco Hospital here on June 21, Friday evening. The tragic incident took place when Marwa, daughter of Mukhtar and Noor Jahan from Kannur was playing with her twin sister near the hospital window which did not have grills.

The seriously injured kid was rushed to the KMC Hospital where she was declared dead. Marwa’s mother Noor Jahan was admitted to the hospital a few days ago, and she had delivered a baby boy  two days ago.

The parents of the child have blamed the hospital authorities for the tragedy and said the windows without grills caused the death of their little daughter.

Mukhtar is an autorickshaw driver by profession. Kadri police have registered a case.
