Press Release : Mangalore : “Yamaha SZ Tour – Stay Ahead” rally has zoomed its way to the Mangalore city bringing along with it the same “Stay Ahead” spirit with which it was flagged off from Yamaha’s Surajpur factory on September 15th.
Twenty bikers divided into 2 teams, each team consisting of 10 members started their journey from Delhi and is riding through different routes across the country. Today the Yamaha SZ Tour reached city M. Ganesh Rao flagged up to continue Bikers journey to Kerala state, in this occasion Abdul MPuttige. Rathish Nair, Ramy Krishna, Kuldeep, Akshya Raj were present. Satish welcomed guest and bikers.
This team is covering an extensive stretch across Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Orissa, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The culmination of the “Yamaha SZ Tour” will take place in Cochin on the 16th October, 2010, amidst huge fanfare.
Through the YAMAHA SZ tour, the company aims to appeal & reach out to a wider section of customers, not only urban but also rural customers. Yamaha also wants to demonstrate Styling, good Mileage and Comfortable riding of SZ models as bikers traverse across the length & breadth of the country on these bikes to ride more than 12,000 kms.
Yamaha acknowledges its Corporate Social Responsibility towards the society and is regularly conducting safe riding education program – Yamaha Safe Riding Science (YSRS) for inculcating safe riding habits and raising traffic safety awareness among local communities. Yamaha has already conducted this program in 7 cities across India since its inception a year ago. Through Yamaha SZ Tour, Yamaha also aims to promote safety riding among bikers with the slogan “Be Safe on Road – Wear helmets while riding”.
