Mangalore: Nearly twenty passengers travelling in a Mangalore-Udupi Express bus were injured, seven of them seriously when the bus collided head on with a speeding tanker on NH 66 at Pangala on Thursday.
It has been reported that the tanker from Rajasthan was over speeding resulting in the mishap. The condition of the tanker driver is said to be critical. Traffic was disrupted on the highway for nearly an hour following the accident. Heavy rains in the region also added to the problem.
