Udupi: A youth committed suicide at the train track near Indrali on Saturday August 12.

The deceased has been identified as Prateek (20), a resident of Nittur.

It is been learnt that Prateek was depressed over love failure. Prateek was in love with a girl and the girl had a fight with him and was not in talking terms with him from the past two days. In order to overcome the pain, the teen left home on Friday midnight and did not return.

The family got anxious and started searching for him, found his body lying on the railway track at Indrali.
