Mangalore : Ramdas Kamath, Senior Vice President of Infosys has said that the KCCI will be preparing an IT Vision 2020 for Mangalore and that the report will be submitted to the Karnataka government within one month.
Speaking to reporters after participating in the IT Vision 2020 held in Mangalore on February 5, Tuesday, he said a state level committee has already submitted its report to the government. The report aims at generating 20 lakh jobs. He said a committee has been formed even in Mangalore on similar lines.
Mohammad Ameen, Chairman of KCCI, said presently the IT Sector has generated 10,000 jobs and added 50,000 more jobs would be created by 2020,
