Kundapur : Nearly 25 passengers of a private tourist bus sustained injuries when the bus collided with a lorry near the Ampar bus stop on May 22, Wednesday morning.

The tourist bus from Tumkur was carrying tourists from Tamil Nadu and was on way to Kollur from Shringeri. The lorry was heading towards Siddapur and was laden with paddy.

The condition of four of the injured namely  Shiva (10), Dorairaj (45), Kannamma (45) and the lorry driver is said to be critical. Even the bus driver has been injured. All the injured  have been admitted to various hospitals.

Shankeranarayana Police have registered a case.
