Mangaluru: Corporation Bank General Manager Laxminath Reddy inaugurated the 28th road safety week at police community hall on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion he said that the importance of the life can be understood by understanding the theme of the 28th road safety week ‘Your safety secures your family, be cautious on road’.

“Nearly 1.4 lakh people are dying every year due to road accidents. It is huge number. We need to follow the traffic rules to ensure the safety of our life. Even the roads are being developed now days. Broader the roads will be lesser will be caution. Traffic violations will lead to tragedy,” he said.

He further said that strict follow of traffic rules can save our lives. Wearing helmet during riding tw wheeler is must. Drink and drive and over speed always resulted in disasters.
