A film music composer GuruKiran from Kadri, who recently went beyond Tamil actor Dhanush’s ‘Kolaveri de’ song in popularising a new ‘Kannada funny with his melody, inaugurated the present show. He told the boys to be lively and full of mirth. He sang two songs to prove what he said and entertained them all.
Prof. Ramachandra Bhatta, principal, told the gathering that the festival was the meeting point for many young student to speak and listen to each other.
It was the 25th (silver jubilee) festival of its kind, being held since 1982, he recalled.
Students took part various activities like debate, painting, quiz, extempore (on the spot), group dance, classical dances, collage, day modeling mad ads, folk dances, group songs, film songs, western form of dancing/miming and variety entertainment on stage.
