Mangalore : The Valedictory function of the 3 day Catholic Youth Spiritual festival of Prayers, Mass -Worships and Chorus music in division to God ended here Nehru Maidan on Sunday ,Nov.24, in the presents of Bishop religious leaders elders of the Catholic community and youth of both sex offering their respects to the memory of Christ and remembering the benevolent God.
Rev. Fr Ronald Cardoza, priest from Chikmagalur Parrish and Secretary of Evangelists. He delivered the massage of Christ to the local Christian laity. He dwelt on peace and happiness on earth before the advent of Christ whose birthday falls a month hence.
He prayed for the welfare of local youths, men and women preachers and nuns who gad repost there full faith in Jesus Christ, St. Marry, and Fr. God.
Fr Franklin D’Soua, National Director of Indian Catholic Youth Movement and Fr Joseph Martin delivered their learned lectures and religious discourses on the heart of the movement now being practiced among youths in the Catholic community.
The Bishop of Mangalore. Rev. Dr. Aloysius Paul D’Souza who held the Holly Mass at the crowded function, exhorted the people to maintain full faith in God and his son Christ, apart from Mother Marry. The coming year as been recognized as the year of Confessions and forgiveness.
Hundreds of male and female singers among the attending youth raise their voice in soulful music in prayer to God as a mark of their awareness to Christian religion and the divinity hidden within done.
The occasion of the festival was marked with a renewal of faith, a knowledge of the Spirit and a fact of friendship among those present at the venue all these three days.
