Udupi : Three  persons met an instant death in a car truck collision  on NH 66 at Beedu near Padubidri on may 21, Tuesday.

The deceased are Aruna Rai, Clerk in Majoor Gram Panchayat Office, her husband Satish Rai and Satish Kumar (43) from Krishnapura.

The mishap took place when they were on way to  Kumble to invite friends and relatives  to their house warming ceremony at Nitte. The truck  was on way to Mangalore from Udupi.

Padubidri police have registered a case.
