Mumbai:  Three persons from Byndoor in Kundapur met a tragic end in an LPG cylinder blast at Virar West in Sub-urban Mumbai recently.

The three were employees in Shreya restaurant. The deceased are Govinda Shetty (34), his brother Manjunath Shetty (28) from  Byndoor, and Manjunath Poojary (25) from Hondadahitlu in the taluk.

The mishap took place when the three were resting and a gas cylinder exploded in a room next to theirs. The three died on the spot.

If Govind Shetty was the manager, Manjunath Poojari was a server and was  scheduled to join a new job in Middle East next week. Yet another person died in the blast was a man from Maharashtra. Nearly 20 persons were injured in the mishap.
