Kundapur : This is a tragic story of those going to for a picnic to the sea show and never returning home, as it often happens.

Ashraf, Shahan and their neighbour Mujibur Rehman from Shimoga are the unlucky ones to drown at sea, while bodies of Shahan and Rehman’s bodies have not been traced by fishermen or coastal guards on duty for last 11 days. Father Ashraf and Shahan(8) are from Kundapur now living in Goa, while Rehman their neighbor is from Shimoga .

Syed Tabesh(17) and Shahan  were playing  in the sea waves when both were dragged in to the sea by the rousing waves. Shahan could not return and his body has not been traced, while Syed would come back from the sea waves to the shore.

Rehman the neighbour try to save the children from the sea but was dragged by the waves to death.

Ayan, however was thrown up by the waves back to the shore and was saved. Father Ashraf’s body in his futile attempt to save his son from the waves went into the sea and has remained untraceable for the last 11 days.

The grief of the 2 bereaved families of Kundapur and Shimog   was chilling to the people who gathered at the sea shore and were on lookers of the tragedy at sea .

Goan Police are continuing their efforts to trace out the bodies of Shahan and Rehman.

Rehman was expected to be married in a few days but could survive the tragic end.
