Mangalore :  As no cigarette, Gutkha, Beedi and drug items could be sold within a radius of 100 metres from every educational institution run in Dakshina Kannada district, and public posters are shown in front of all schools, three cage stalls selling them, near Milagres Junior College, St. Aloysius’ Junior College, and Bunder Cresent English Medium school, were closed down by the North Police station officials on Tuesday.

It may be noted that SAC campus was rocked by drug-addicted girl students sometime back, and a scandal was averted by CPC whom Congress leaders had met in a delegation. All those permitted stalls at safe which sell Tobacco items, have been forwarded by city police commissionerate.
