Mangaluru: Three women have been arrested by Mangalore East (Kadri) police for allegedly stealing a house from Shivbhag in the city.
Sivagami (37), Manju (28), and Lachimi (30) were arrested hailing from Hassan Holenarasipura. Police said the stolen property and equipment used for the theft have been seized from the accused.
A resident of the city’s Shivabhag Tarethota locked his house in the daylight on Sept. 13 and Had gone out. The thieves who used this occasion robbed Rs 1.60 lakh Worth gold and Rs 18 thousand cash had stolen.
A case has been registered at Kadri police station.
Under the direction of City Police Commissioner Vikas Kumar, DCPs Arunanshugiri and Vinay Gaonkar directed by ACP Jagadish, Kadri Inspector Savitra Teja, SI Anita Nikkam, Jnanashekhara, ASI Shashidhar Shetty, Janardhana Naik, Jayananda, Umesh Kottari, Asit, Dinesh, Raghavendra, Nagaraja, Deviprasad and Pramila participated in the detection work.
