Mangalore: Bajrang Dal activist and convener, Sharan Pumpwell and his aggressive partners in public life, were booked by Ullal Police in regard to attack on a Youth at Someshwar on Sunday(Aug.14), in Maharani  Form’s guesthouse.
Sharan had feigned ignorance about the youth, at whose birthday rejoicings, some Bajrangis had intruded, but Police did not listen.
The mischief makers were booked for non-bailable offences of rioting and robbery during the birthday calibrations. But there were no arrests, local police clarified. There were about 30 young men who were booked under IPC sections.
The resort care-taker Dayanand and his several co-workers were injured in the melee. .
