Mangaluru: 32 death anniversary of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was observed at district Congress office on Monday.

District in-charge Minister Ramanath Rai, food and civil supplies Minister U T Khader and other leaders paid tribute to Indira Gandhi.

Speaking on the occasion Minister Rai said that Indira Gandhi was wealth of this country.

“She was known as the ‘Steel Woman’ for her brave and daring nature which she showed during her tenure as PM,” he said.

Chief Whip of Karnataka Government in legislative assembly Ivan D’Souza, district women Congress President Shalet Pinto, district Congress Interim President Ibrahim Kodiajl and others were present.
