Mangalore: It was a matter of great pride for the St Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology (AIMIT) when four of its students who appeared for the National Creativity Aptitude Test secured places among the top ten.
The toppers are Blandina Jyothsna Fernandes (2nd year MCA) –second rank and cash prize of Rs 15000, Prakhyat KV (Ist year MCA) fourth rank, Randeep B (2nd MCA)- 8th rank and Lakshmish Venkatramana Hegde(Ist MSC Software Technology)-9th rank.
Over 10,000 students from all over India took part in the test conducted by International Forum for Excellence in Higher Education (IFEHE), Delhi The creative thinking and logical reasoning abilities of the students were put to test which was conducted in two phases
Round 1 was conducted at the college end while Round 2 was conducted at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi in which more than 75 colleges participated.
The four AIMIT students have now qualified for a week long Residential IIT Certificate Course on Creativity and Innovation at IIT Delhi.
