Udupi :  Padubidri police have seized 460 grams of ganja worth Rs 15000 from four persons  at Padubidri on July 17, Wednesday. The police  raided a bar at Padubidri following a tip off and found one Shishir Suvarna, t he main accused trying to sell drugs there. Police have also seized four mobile phones and a cash of Rs 7350 apart from plastic sachets used to pack the drugs.

The accused who are arrested  Shishir Suvarna alias Shishiya (20),  Zainuddin (39) of Kasba Bengre, Mangalore, Hanif alias Rajesh (19) of Kanchinadka, and Mohammed Ashfaq (20) of Moodu Palimar.

 If Shishir was first arrested, Zainuddin was arrested on the basis of the information provided by Shishir. He is said to be a fisherman while Shishir worked in a  hotel. The other two were painters by profession.

All the four were produced before the court.
