Mangalore : Four persons were arrested on the charges of illegally selling beef  at Angaragundi and near Subrahmanya . Police on August 4, Sunday raided an illegal slaughter house at Angaragundi  near Baikampady Suratkal and  arrested two persons apart from seizing seven cows and eight quintal meat.

The arrested are Aboobakkar and Mohammed Khalander.Three others identified as  Bava, Ibrahim and Anwar have escaped from the scene.

In another case, two persons who were running an illegal slaughter house  at Polanje near Subrahmanya were arrested. The arrested are Ismail Ibrahim and Ismail. Two cows were found in the slaughter house.

Subrahmanya police are investigating.
