Bantwal :  Four persons of a family sustained injuries in a  collision between a  car and a bus at Brahmarakootlu near BC Road on August 5, Sunday. The CPC bus was moving towards Mangalore from Bangalore and the speeding bus collided against the Ford Figo in which PK Rao of KIOCL and his family were travelling. The injured are PK Rao, his wife Vidya, their daughter and driver Omkar.

Even an Innova car which was behind the bus rammed against the bus. The bus driver fled the scene soon after the accident.

The injured have been hospitalized and the condition of PK Rao is said to be critical.

Bantwal police have registered a case.
