Udupi: A Mangalore-bound express bus had a head-on collision with a car in which 4 lecturers from Katpady and one from Kota were traveling on Teachers Day at Udyavar on the national highway on Monday morning. The car belonged to Kota lecturer,who along with his son were injured, apart from 3 other teachers on a tragic day for them. They are recovering in a hospital at present here. They were going to Udupi to participate in a show of Dharna to press their demands on salaries, on the Teachers’ Day.
Kaup police were filed a case against the speeding bus driver.
